This is a song to teach kids the hard g rule for phonics. Learning when a g is hard and soft is an important step in learning to read. This is a part of my Learn to Read Series.
Hard G is usually followed by an a, o, or u or a consonant. There are a few exceptions to this rule, which we will go over in a future video.
Some kids found no problems understanding with the ‘Look as well as Guess’ system. They grew to become excellent readers and advanced. Such children are usually quoted by promoters from the system. These quick kids with well developed short as well as long term memory abilities would learn via any kind of method and must do not be championed as a achievement of any system.
